QUICK START · 1 MINUTE
Explore how fire alarm inputs are processed by the FACP and how programmed cause-and-effect logic activates the outputs.
Select a device on the diagram, such as a smoke detector or manual call point. The selected input will show an active state.
Follow the cause-and-effect sequence. The simulator evaluates the configured logic and highlights the corresponding output devices.
Acknowledge records that the event is recognised. Signal silence silences simulated notification outputs. Reset returns the simulation to normal.
Open “Edit devices & logic” to review inputs, outputs, cause-and-effect rules and voice messages. Save changes only when the shared setup is intended to be updated.
Important: This is an educational and demonstration simulator only. It does not connect to or control a real fire alarm system. Always follow approved drawings, manufacturer instructions and applicable authority requirements.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Zularif Fikri
Facilities Engineer · Fire Protection & Life Safety Systems
I developed this FACP Cause & Effect Simulator as an independent engineering project to make fire alarm cause-and-effect logic easier to understand, visualise and demonstrate. It brings system inputs, fire alarm panel processing and output actions into one interactive view.
Independent project for learning and demonstration. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any fire alarm manufacturer or employer. Always verify actual system design, programming and compliance against approved drawings, applicable standards and authority requirements.
